SONIKCUTS
SonikCuts is a Brazilian DJ and producer rooted in turntablism, instrumental music and vinyl culture. His work combines scratch techniques, beatmaking and immersive sound design into a distinctive multicultural approach. Active since the early 2000s, he developed his artistic identity through DJ culture, crate digging and analog-based production before relocating to Paris, where he expanded his work between music production and independent releases. During this period, he founded Bunker Sounds, a label through which he developed vinyl releases, collaborative projects and connections with artists from different countries. Alongside his solo work, SonikCuts has collaborated with artists such as Skyzoo, Guilty Simpson, Termanology, Planet Asia and Supastition. His productions bridge hip-hop and electronic foundations with atmospheric textures and cinematic influences, where turntablism becomes part of the musical language itself.
