TAI11 is the new album by Brazilian DJ and producer SonikCuts.The project unfolds
through eleven interconnected tracks that blend turntablism, atmospheric production and sonic collage. TAI11 treats the turntable as a musical instrument in its own right. Scratches, samples, synthesizers and found sounds interact throughout the album, creating a sound world shaped by both composition and improvisation. Drawing from years of crate digging and musical exploration, the project combines jazz-infused textures, hip-hop foundations, analog aesthetics and cinematic atmospheres. Urban field recordings, vocal fragments and archival sounds are woven into the music, giving each piece a distinct sense of depth and place. Active between Latin America and Europe for more than two
decades, SonikCuts brings together his experience as a DJ, producer and turntablist in a
cohesive body of work designed to be experienced as a complete album rather than a collection of singles.
